Kai Daryanani joins Virtuosi Racing for the 2023 British F4 season

Kai Daryanani has joined Virtuosi Racing for the 2023 FIA British Formula 4 season, the Norfolk-based team is pleased to confirm.

The Indian driver will progress to British F4 after a recent introduction to single-seater racing in the 2023 Formula 4 UAE Championship. He made the step up from karting and showed steady improvement throughout the UAE F4 campaign, which took place during the winter break.

2023 will be Kai Daryanani's first full season in single seaters. During ongoing testing, he has quickly gotten to grips with the car and the team will work to continue developing his craft in the next phase of his racing career.

On the signing of Daryanani, Virtuosi F4 team boss Mark Salmon said:

"We are very happy to have Kai on board for the 2023 British F4 season. Kai has been working hard in testing and we will continue working with him to make his transition into cars a successful one. We’re looking forward to taking on the challenge with him."

Kai Daryanani added:

"I’m delighted to be part of Virtuosi for the 2023 season. I immediately felt very comfortable with all the team members when I tested at the end of last year, and I hope that we can enjoy a lot of success together this year.
"I understand the challenge ahead, but we will work our hardest to keep improving. I’d like to thank the team for this opportunity, and I would also like to thank my partners, Skyway Pacific and Madnani Facial Plastics, for their support. I am looking forward to a great season!"

Daryanani teams up with the already-confirmed Douwe Dedecker, who was announced on March 7th.
